2020 CEIA Call for Proposals Deadline is Approaching!
Career services professionals, cooperative education and internship practitioners, faculty, employers, and scholars are invited to share innovative ideas, best practices, and research that elevates experiential learning at the 57th Annual CEIA Conference in San Diego, California. Program proposals are now being accepted!
Submit your proposal by Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
Helpful Tips for Submitting and Preparing a Proposal:
1.) Determine your preferred format for your proposal: Interactive Breakout Session, Hot Topic Roundtable Discussion, or Pecha Kucha
2.) Determine session topic for your proposal: Administration and Operations; Assessment, Outcomes and Research; Campus Partner and Employer Relations; Instructional Techniques and Student Development; Recruitment and Legal Issues; Technology and Marketing; Underrepresented Students.
3.) Incorporate assessment and data to support session content
4.) Indicate your interest in being considered for two or more types of sessions (and provide a well-written explanation on how the session would be adapted)
5.) Consider a co-facilitator at another college or an employer (special consideration will be given to proposals that are co-facilitated by an employer)
6.) Incorporating the theme, Coast to Coast: Empowering Student Success, into your proposed presentation is always a good thing!
